Research tools and charts on the Property Report

The Property Report includes a Research tools panel and a Charts & statistics section that let you run further research on the street and suburb directly from the report.

Important points to be noted:

  • Both features are on the Property Report (Pricefinder). Use the Classic/Enhanced toggle at the top of the report to switch versions.
  • The Research tools panel sits in the right-hand column of the report, below Market insights.
  • Charts & statistics is the last section of the report.

Research tools panel

The Research tools panel contains the following links:

  • Radial search - opens a Search Results page centred on the property with a Refine Search form (radius, sale date and price ranges, property type, and more).
  • Street sales - opens Market Activity - Sales with the street pre-filled (Street Name, Suburb, Postcode).
  • Sales for suburb - opens the same Search Results page with only the Suburb Name pre-filled, searching sales across the whole suburb.
  • Suburb flyover - opens the Quick Charts & Suburb Flyover page for the suburb (tabs: Quick Charts, Demographics, Housing, Other Statistics, Recent Sales, Recent Rentals).
  • Listings for suburb - opens a Search Results listings form with the suburb pre-filled and listing filters.
  • Photos - opens the Photos and Features page for the property (photo grid by year, and the Features editor).
  • Pricefinder integrations - leaves the app and opens the public Pricefinder integrations page listing integration partners.

Charts & statistics section

The Charts & statistics section has three tabs:

  • Suburb growth - "Sales & growth chart for [suburb]": a bar chart of the number of sales with a median sale price (AUD) line, from 1992 to the current year.
  • Price segments - "Price Range Segmentation (Last 12 Months)": a horizontal bar chart of number of sales per price bracket.
  • Peak selling - "Peak selling chart for [suburb]": number of sales (median) by calendar month, January to December.
