Exporting and printing search results in Pricefinder

Pricefinder search results pages offer options to print, export, and generate full reports. This article explains how to access these options and how to get the full list of results when a search returns more than 1,000 properties.

Important points to be noted:

  • Search results are capped at 1,000 properties displayed on screen. If a search returns more than 1,000 properties, a warning is shown and you must generate a Report to get the full result set.
  • The warning reads: "Warning: Only the first 1000 results returned to browser. Please select a Report to get the full list of results."
  • Print and export options are available from the Print Page & Export Options link at the top right of any search results page.

Getting beyond the 1,000-result limit

Please follow the below mentioned steps to generate a report for a large result set:

  1. Run a search that returns more than 1,000 properties. The warning banner appears on the results page: "Warning: Only the first 1000 results returned to browser. Please select a Report to get the full list of results."

  2. On the left side of the results page, the Search Tools panel displays a set of report icons for the street or suburb. These are the "Report" options the warning refers to:

    What it generates

Properties for Street Ownership data for a specific street (shows a record count badge)
Sales for Street Sales history for a specific street (shows a record count badge)

  3. Click the relevant icon to generate a report for the full data set, outside the 1,000-record browser limit.

Print Page & Export Options

Please follow the below mentioned steps to print or export a results page:

  1. Run any search that returns results (Property Search, Prospecting, Phone Search, etc.).
  2. At the top right of the results page, click Print Page & Export Options. The panel opens with two options:

Refining results before export

Before exporting, you can narrow your results using the Refine Search panel. Key filters include:

For All Properties (Prospecting):

  • Tenure Period - filter by how long the current owner has held the property: Include All, 1 Year, 2 Years through 9 Years, 10 Years+.
  • Property Type - Include All, House, Unit, Vacant Land, Commercial, Industrial, Other.
  • Land Use - more granular land use classification (Residence, Flat/s, Unit/Townhouse, Vacant Land, Commercial, Factory, Industrial, Farm/Rural, and many more).
  • Bedrooms / Bathrooms / Carparks - minimum and maximum counts.
  • More Options (expandable): Purchase Price (enter as a number, e.g. 30000 for $30,000) and Land Size (Square Metres, Hectares or Acres).

Ownership/Display options:

  • Include Owner Occupier - include owner-occupied properties.
  • Include Non Owner Occupier - include probable rental properties.
  • Include Government Properties - include government-owned properties (where available).
  • Include Phone Numbers - include possible phone numbers for results (see the DNCR compliance article before using).
  • Include Body Corporate - include Body Corporate properties (where available).
  • Display Results - display Ownership results on screen.

Apply your filters first, then export or generate a report to get the refined result set.
