How can I add notes to my CMA?
You can add agent notes within a CMA once it has been created. Find your CMA’s by clicking Appraisals from the home page.
We’ll show you how to add agent notes to a CMA that has already been created to save time by focusing on high value conversations with your clients.
Notes:
- Agent notes are only available in a digital CMA
- You must have already created a CMA to add agent notes.
- You can only add notes to a CMA that you have created. Admins or colleagues can’t add notes on behalf of others.
- Log in to Pricefinder and click Appraisals from the top navigation menu.
- Click the CMA you want to add notes on. This will open the CMA in a new tab.
- Click the Appraisal & Print tab then click Create Digital CMA. This will open your digital CMA in a new tab.
- When the digital CMA opens, click Continue in the bottom right corner on the next 2 pages.
- On the Table of contents screen, click any page of the CMA you’d like to add notes in. Notes can be added to each page of the digital CMA.
- Click Add notes in the top navigation menu to add notes.
- This will open the notes panel. Click Add note in the bottom right corner. This will add notes to the page you’re currently viewing. To add notes to another page of the CMA use the arrows in the top right corner to move through the pages.
- Enter your notes into the notes editor. Basic formatting tools are available. Click Save when done.
- Any notes saved for this page of the CMA will appear in the notes panel. You can edit or delete the notes by clicking the trash or edit icons.
Use the Show all notes toggle if you want all recipients to see notes. With Show all notes switched on, anyone you share the CMA with will be able to see your notes. If you only want to see the notes yourself leave this switched off.
You can add more notes entries by clicking Add note again.
- On the Comparables page, notes can be added to each comparable. When you click Add note and the notes panel appears, click the Select Comparable drop-down to select a property. Add your notes specific to this comparable property then click Save.
If you have selected Show all notes, when the viewer has the page open they will see an Agents note label. Clicking this will open the notes side panel and bring the notes into focus.
IMPORTANT!Only viewers who have access to this Digital CMA link and are NOT logged into Pricefinder can see this vendor view.
When the viewer clicks View comparable in the notes panel it will bring the relevant comparable property into focus.
Congratulations!
You now know how to add agents notes to your CMA’s and how your clients will be able to view them.
