Ownership Search - using tenure and purchase date filters in Pricefinder

This article will guide you with steps that you can follow to search for property owners using tenure and purchase date filters in Pricefinder.

Important points to be noted:

  • Ownership search is found under Market Activity → Ownership.
  • You can filter results by owner type, tenure length, purchase date, property type, price, land size and more.
  • Ownership search is commonly used for prospecting - identifying long-term owners or specific ownership types in a target area.
  • Only the first 1,000 results are returned to the browser. To retrieve the full list, select a Report from the Search Tools panel.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to run an ownership search with filters:

  1. Log in to Pricefinder.
  2. Click Search in the top navigation.
  3. Click the Market Activity tab.
  4. Click the Ownership sub-tab.

    • Include Non Owner Occupier - tick to include properties not occupied by the owner (probable rental properties).
    • Include Government Properties - tick to include government-owned properties (where available).
    • Include Body Corporate - tick to include body corporate-owned properties (where available).

    • Select Purchase Date to filter by the date the current owner purchased the property. Enter a date range in the Purchase Date fields (dd/mm/yyyy).
